Huely — Privacy Policy

Huely ("we", "the app") helps you identify paint colours from a photo. We are committed to collecting as little data as possible.

What we process

• Photos you scan: when you identify a colour, the selected image is sent to our processing service (which uses OpenAI) only to return the colour result. Images are processed transiently to fulfil your request and are not stored on our servers or used to train models or for advertising.
• Purchases & subscription status: handled by RevenueCat and Apple to unlock Pro features. Tied to an anonymous app identifier, not to your name or email.
• Anonymous app identifier: a random ID stored on your device (Keychain) so your subscription and daily usage stay consistent. It is not linked to your real identity.

What we do not do

We do not sell your data, we do not track you across other apps or websites, and the app contains no third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.

Data retention & rights

Scanned images are not retained after processing. You can delete your saved colours at any time in the app. To request deletion of any usage record tied to your anonymous identifier, contact us.

Third parties

OpenAI (image analysis) and RevenueCat / Apple (purchases) process data on our behalf to provide the service.
